NOTIFICATION
(SALES TAX)

            S.R.O. 290 (I)/2003.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 6 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification S.R.O. No. 952(I)/98, dated the 5th September, 1998, namely:-
in the Table,-

        (i)     under heading “KARACHI (EAST AND WEST)” in column (3), in column (2), after serial No. 68 and entry relating thereto, the following new serial numbers and entries relating thereto shall be added, namely:-
                “69. Korangi Industrial Area Branch, Karachi.”

        (ii)    under heading “RAWALPINDI” in column (3), in column (2), after serial No. 41 and entry relating thereto, the following new serial numbers and entries relating thereto, shall be added, namely:-
                “42. Murree Brewery Branch, Kutchery Road, Rawalpindi.
                43. G-9 Markaz Branch, Islamabad.
                44. National Bank of Pakistan, Kallar Syadan, Distt. Rawalpindi."
