NOTIFICATION

(SALES TAX) 

S.R.O. 335(I)/2002.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 read with section 26 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Filing of Monthly Return Rules, 1996, namely: 

            In the aforesaid Rules, in rule 4, in sub-rule (1), for a full stop, at the end, a colon shall be substituted and thereafter the following proviso shall be added, namely: 

                        “Provided that a registered person specified in Notification No. S.R.O. 350(I)/2002, dated the 15^th June, 2002, shall at the time of filing his return, legibly and conspicuously indicate the expression “LTU” on the top right corner of the return.”
