NOTIFICATION

(SALES TAX)

S.R.O 663 (I)/2001:- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government is pleased to exempt:-

(a) the whole amount of sales tax leviable on supplies of urea fertilizer made on or after the 1^st April, 2001 by a person other than an importer or manufacture;

(b) the whole amount of sales tax leviable on supplies of fertilizer made on or after the 2^nd September, 2001, by a person other than an importer or a manufacturer; and

(c) the whole amount of further tax leviable under sub-section (1A) of section 3 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 on supplies of fertilizers other than urea fertilizer made on or after the 2^nd September,2001.
