NOTIFICATION
(SALES TAX)
S.R.O
610 (I)/2001:- In exercise
of the powers conferred by clause (iii) of the first proviso of section 4 of the
Sales Tax Act, 1990, Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following
further amendment shall be made in its notification No. S.R.O 751(I)/99, dated
the 15th June, 1999, namely:-
(i)
for the word “and” occurring for the first time, a comma shall be
substituted; and
(ii)
after the word “items”, the commas, words and brackets “, safety
matches, furniture (wood, plastic, metal and fibre-glass), water storage tanks
(fibre-glass, plastic, metal), tobacoo leaf (in crates and cartons), gur,
agricultural machinery, electric motors, pumps, fans and transformers, leather
manufactures and footwear, confectionery items, jams, juices and pickles
“shall be inserted.
