S.R.O.  823(I)/2000.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 71 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Special Procedure for Ginning Industry Rules, 1996, namely:-

                In the aforesaid Rules,

                (a)    in rule 3, in sub-rule (2), the proviso shall be omitted; and

                (b)    in rule 6, sub-rules (4) and (5) shall be omitted.
