(Sales Tax)

S.R.O.579(I)/2000.- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, read with sub-section (3) of the said section, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that local supplies of palm oil and soyabean oil shall be exempt from payment of sales tax leviable thereon.

2. This notification shall not entitle any registered person to claim refund of sales tax, additional sales tax or penalty already paid.

3. This notification shall be deemed to have taken effect from the 12^th June, 1998.
