NOTIFICATION

(Sales Tax)

S.R.O. 437(I)/2000.--

In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, read with sub-section (3) of the said section, the Federal Government is pleased to exempt sales tax leviable on X-ray films imported by M/s. Gulab Devi Chest Hospital, Ferozpur Road, Lahore, subject to the condition that the goods are either donated free of charge or the same are paid out of the hospital funds and the exemption admissible under the notification shall be applicable to the X-ray films cleared vide Bill of Entry No. 2088, dated 12th February, 2000, at Mughalpura Dryport, Lahore.
