Notification
No. S.R.O. 557(I)/96,
dated 1st July, 1996.—In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section 30 and 31 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Central Board of Revenue
is pleased to appoint:--
(i)
the officers specified in column (2) of the table below to be the
Additional Collector of Sales Tax for the area specified in column (3) thereof;
and
(ii)
Deputy Collectors, Assistant Collectors, Superintendents, Senior
Auditors, Deputy Superintendents and Auditors of Sales Tax in the respective
Collectorates to be the officers of sales tax for those areas.
