(Income Tax)
S.RO. 653(I)/2006-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 237 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Income Tax Rules, 2002, the same having been previously published as required by sub-section (3) of the said section.
In the aforesaid Rules, in rule 9, in sub-rule (4) in clause (a) after word “basis”.
(a) the colon shall be omitted. and.
(b) the words and figure “as reduced by 45% of the minimum of the time scale of his basic salary or the basic salary where there is no time scale, subject to a maximum of two hundred seventy thousand rupees” shall be added.
