(INCOME TAX)

S.R.O. 595(I)/2000.--

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 1979 (XXXI of 1979), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Second Schedule to the said Ordinance, namely :-

In the aforesaid Schedule, in Part IV, for clause (22A), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"(22A) The provisions of sub-section (5) of section 50 shall not apply, during the period between the twenty-second day of June, 2000, and the twenty-second day of September, 2000, to all such unsold or undisclosed vehicles as were imported under the Yellow Cab Scheme and are held by an  importer or a title or lien holder or an official assignee."
