(CUSTOMS)

S.R.O. 909 (I)/2004.- In exercise of the powers conferred under sub -section (2) of section 179 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to revise the jurisdiction and powers of the Officers of the Customs specified in column (1) in terms of amount of duties and other taxes involved, excluding the conveyance, shall be as specified in column (2) below:-

DESIGNATION OF OFFICER (1)		JURISDICATION AND POWERS OF ADJUDICATION (2)
(i)	Collector	Without limit.
(ii)	Additional Collector	Not exceeding twenty-five million rupees.
(iii)	Deputy Collector	Not exceeding five million rupees.
(iv)	Assistant Collector	Not exceeding one million rupees.
