NOTIFICATION

(CUSTOMS)

 

                        SRO 734 (I)/2004: – In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No, S.R.O. 455 (I)/2004, dated the 12th  June, 2004, namely:-

 

In the aforesaid Notification, in clause (iv), -

 

(I)                 for the word and full stop “No” the letters, full stops, figures, brackets, commas and words “Nos, S.R.O. 27(I)/98, dated 17th January, 1998, S.R.O. 369(I)/98, dated 17th June, 2000 and” shall be substituted; and

 

(II)              for the full stop at the end of colon shall be substituted are thereafter the following further proviso shall be added namely:-

 

“Provided further that the aforesaid facility of concessionary rate of duty shall be available till the 31st march 2005. Thereafter, the importers shall pay statutory rate of duty alongwith penalties as per conditions of relevant Notifications under which concession on imports had been availed.”
