NOTIFICATION

(CUSTOMS/CENTRAL EXCISE/SALES TAX/INCOME TAX)

S.R.O.247(I)/2002.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 219 of the Customs Act,1969 (IV of 1969), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Customs Rules, 2001, namely:-

2.         In the aforesaid Rules, in chapter –XII, in Sub-Chapter 7, in rule 299, for sub-rule (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“(4) The exports shall be admissible to all countries including Afghanistan and through Afghanistan to Central Asian Republic by land route subject to conditions contained in paragraph (8) of the Export Policy and Procedures Order,2000”.

3.         This notification shall take effect from the 7^th Marc,2002.
