NOTIFICATION

(SALES TAX)

S.R.O. (I)/2002:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1A) and clause (b) of sub section (2) of section 3 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No. SRO 389(I)/2001 dated 18th June, 2001, namely-

In the aforesaid notification, in the table, in column (1),-

    1. serial number 188 and the entries relating thereto, in columns (2) and (3) shall be omitted;
    2. the serial numbers "189" and "190" shall be re-numbered to serial numbers "199" and "200" respectively;
    3. after serial number "187" the following new serial numbers in column (1) and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) shall be inserted, namely:-

    Pig iron and splegeleisen in pigs, blocks or other primary form.

    Ferrous products obtained by direct reduction or iron or and other spongy ferrous products, in lumps, pellets or similar forms; iron having a minimum purity by weight of 99.94%, in lumps, pellets of similar forms.
