NOTIFICATION
(Central Excise)

            SRO 243(I)/2002 – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 37 of the Central excise Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the
Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Central Excise Rules, 1944 namely;
            In the aforesaid Rules, in rule 139, for clause (I), the following shall be substituted namely;
“(I)        Construction materials such as cement, paints, varnishes, metal containers, wires and cable and asphalt;”
