S.R.O. 688(I)/99.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), read with section 7 of the Customs (Amendment) Act, 1999 (II of 1999), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment

shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 587(I)/92, dated the 15th June, 1992, namely:-

In the aforesaid Notification, after the FORM-II, the following Explanation,

shall be added, namely:-"

Explanation:- The expression "not manufactured locally" shall mean the goods which are not included in the list of locally manufactured goods, specified by the CBR through a General Order, subject to the conditions mentioned therein".
