NOTIFICATION

( CUSTOMS )

S.R.O. 684(I)/99.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Customs (Amendment) Act, 1969 (II of 1999), and on the recommendations of the National Tariff Commission, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 349(I)/85, dated the 15th April, 1985, namely:-

In the aforesaid Notification, in the Annexure,-

(a) in Part A, under the heading "Raw Materials",-

        (1) after the entry "Acediasulfone", the following new entry shall be

inserted, namely:-"

Acefylline" and

"Acefylline Piperazine"

(2) after the entry "Azathioprine", the following new entry shall be

inserted, namely:-"

    Azelastin Hydrochloride";

 

        (3) after the entry "Betacarotene 10% water soluble", the following new

(i) Betamethasone Base

(ii) Betamethasone Di-Sodium

Phosphate; and

(iii)Betamethasone 17 Valerate".

 

 

(4) after the entry "Cephradine", the following new entry shall be inserted,

namely:-"

Cephalexin Sodium"

(5) after the entry "Citeolone", the following new entry shall be inserted,

namely:-"

Citrulline Malate"

(6) after the entry "Clobazam", the following new entry shall be inserted,

namely:-"

Clobetasol Di-propionate";

(7) after the entry "Collidal Bismuth Subcitrate", the following new entry

shall be inserted, namely:-"

Concentrate/Ready-to-Fill,

Inactivated rabiies virus (Rabies Vaccine)";

(8) after the entry "Diethylamine salicylate", the following new entry shall

be inserted, namely:-"

Diethyl Toluamide";

(9) after the entry "Glycol salicylate", the following new entry shall be

inserted, namely:-"

Glycopyrrolate"

(10) after the entry "Ipeca", the following new entry shall be inserted,

namely:-"

Ipriflavone";

(11) after the entry "Lynestrenol", the following new entry shall be inserted,

namely:-"

Lyophlised Saccharomyces Boulardii";

(12) after the entry "Nicotinic Acid", the following new entry shall be

inserted, namely:-"

Nifuroxazide";

(13) after the entry "Nilvadipine (SR) Pellets", the following new entry shall

be inserted, namely:-

"Nimesulide";

(14) after the entry "Salacylic Acid", the following new entry shall be

inserted, namely:-"(

i) Salbutamol Base (Micronized";

and

(ii) Salbutamol Sulphate";

(15) after the entry "Trifluoperazine, its derivaitives and Salts", the

following new entry shall be inserted, namely:-"

Triflusal";

(16) after the entry "Viromycine Sulphate", the following new entry shall be

inserted, namely:-"

                    Viral Hemagglutinins, constituted by

15mcg of Hemagglutinin derived from                                             each                         of the following

strains:

An A/WUHAN/359/96

(H3 N2)

- Like Strain.

An A/BAYERN/7/95

(H1 N2)

- Like Strain.

AB/BEIJING/184/93-

- Like Strain."; and

(b) in Part-B, under the heading "Packing Materials", after the entry "Non-Toxic

Plastic Bags for IV solution of Dextrose and other infusions", the following

new entry shall be added, namely:-"

Filp Off Seals for injuctable vials"
