CUSTOMS GENERAL ORDER NO.08/2004

 

 

SUBJECT:-    AMENDMENT IN CUSTOMS GENERAL ORDER NO. 12 OF 2002, DATED  15.06.2002.

 

 

The Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following amendment shall be made in its Customs General Order No. 12 of 2002, dated 15.06.2002, namely:-

                                   

In the aforesaid order sub-paragraph (a) (VIII), of paragraph 34, Chapter IX, shall be substituted, as under:-

 

“(VIII)  Arms and Ammunition:-         (a) Arms and ammunition of prohibited and non-prohibited bores which are “current” in services will be allocated to civil Armed Force or an agency/department having anti-smuggling powers for their official use. Collectors of Customs will ensure that no delay is caused and such arms and ammunition are handed over to the agency to whom allocated.

 

(b)        Arms and ammunition of prohibited and non-prohibited bores, of obsolete, obsolescent (i.e non current status) will be supplied free of cost to Pakistan Ordinance Factories (POF), Wah Cantonment for re-melting through the Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation (Customs & Excise), Islamabad"
