SALES TAX GENERAL ORDER NO.01/2002

Subject:- CLARIFICATION REGARDING REFUND RULES, 2000 ISSUED VIDE NOTIFICATION NO.SRO 417(I)/2000, DATED 20.06.2000. 

                        The Central Board of Revenue has issued a notification SRO 575(I)/2002 dated 31.08.2002 by repealing SRO 417(I)/2002, dated 20.06.2002, regarding payment of sales tax refunds.  After issuance of SRO 575(I)/2002 dated 31.08.2002, Sales Tax General Order No.03/2000 dated 31.08.2000 has become redundant and is, therefore, withdrawn with immediate effect.
