NOTIFICATION

(Customs)

S.R.O. ___(I)/2002.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 219 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Customs Rules, 2001, namely:-

In the aforesaid Rules.-

(a)        in Rule 237, in clause (g), for figure “3” the figure “238” shall be substituted; and

(b)        in Rule 307, in Appendix 1 and 2, under the heading “(a) Particulars of the Exporter:”, under sub-heading “Exporting under Rule” for the figures “3(1)” and “3(4)” the figures “297(2)”, “297(3)” and “297(4)” shall be substituted.
