CUSTOMS

S.R.O. 491(I)/88.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969(IV of 1969) and in supersession of this Ministry’s Notification No. SRO 1247(I) 73, dated the 25th July, 1973, the Federal Government is pleased to exempt such of the goods described in column (2) of the table below and falling under the heading/sub-heading numbers in the Frirst Schedule to the Customs Act, 1969(IV of 1969), specified in cloumn (1) thereof as are produced or manufactured in Brazil, Korea, Spain, Turkey, Yogosalavia, Tunisia, Arab Republic of Egypt, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Philppines, Indonesia Uruguay, Bangladesh and Romania and are imported in conformity with the Rules of Origin notified by the Federal Government for implementing the GATT Protocol relating to trade negotiations among developing countries, to the extent specifed in column (3) of the said table.
