NOTIFICATION
CUSTOMS
S.R.O. 810(I)/79.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19
of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969) and in suppression of this Ministry’s Notification No. S.R.O.
23(1)/77, dated the 31st December, 1976,
the Federal Government is pleased to exempt goods which are imported in the
Customs-port, Lahore, and in respect of which a bill of entry is filed in that
Customs-port prior to the filing of the
vessel’s manifest relating to such goods
in the Custom House, Karachi,
from so much of the customs-duties as
are in excess of the amount which
would have been chargeable thereon
if the goods, having been destined for
clearance at the Karachi Port, were
duly cleared there on the day the
manifest of the vessel was filed in the said Custom House.
